Instructions: Roll a 10-sided dice for each section of the scoresheet (for dice footy, roll two 10-sided dice - one for goals and one for points), competing to score more than a buddy for each round/quarter. If you do not have enough dice (for example, for dice cricket, the scoresheet has 6 parts), use playing cards instead.
Try to win the game by having the highest score at the end of the match!
See the multiplicative strategy instructions below.
For extension, use the extension-level templates available in the second row below, and roll 20-sided dice instead, or a tens place value dice,
using the same multiplicative strategies.
For support, roll a 6-sided dice for each part of the scoresheet, or 3-dot dice.
Dice Footy
Ideal for practice of x6 and x1, and addition
Dice Cricket
Ideal for practice of x1, x2, x3, x4, x5 and x6, and addition
Dice basketball
Ideal for practice of x1, x2 and x3, and addition
Dice Footy - extension version
Ideal for practice of x9, x6 and x1, and addition
Dice Cricket - extension version
Ideal for practice of x5, 6, x7, x8, x9, x10, and addition
Dice basketball - extension version
Ideal for practice of x3, x6, x9, and addition
Use the multiplicative strategies poster (free download below) to help calculate your score for each round using efficient strategies.
For example, for x6, think x5 plus a group, or x3 then double it, or another preferred strategy for x6.
For x4 in dice cricket when you hit a boundary after a bounce, think double double the number you rolled. If you rolled 7, you hit 7 boundaries, so double 7 is 14, double 14 is 28, so 7 boundaries x 4 runs each is 28 runs, because for anything x4, you can just think double double the other number!
For x9 in extension-level basketball or AFL super goals, think x10 take away a group. So if you scored 8 super goals, think 10 points x 8 = 80 points, but then take away one 8 because you only scored 9 lots of eight (not 10 eights), so 80 - 8 = 72.

Next year, you could wish upon a star for these results...or support your teachers with Top Ten's unit plans:
Chirnside Park PS - 2024 Year 3 NAPLAN
following consistent use of the Top Ten Early Years Package
for three years leading up to these results (the COVID Preps!)

Department of Education requested the comparison to region result be removed, because it would potentially lead to excess enrolments at this school, compared to non-Top Ten schools in the same region.
